EM Counselling and Psychology
At EM Counselling and Psychology we strive to offer affordable psychology services to the local community, therefore the fees are set lower than suggested by the Australian Psychological Society.
Clients with a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist can claim up to 10 Medicare rebates per calendar year.
All private and Medicare supported psychology sessions attract a fee of $200 for a 50-minute consultation. If eligible, a Medicare rebate of $93.35 is deducted from the session fee. Fees are payable in full ($200) on the day of appointment. A fee of $214.41 per 50 minute session for all NDIS funded therapy is also to be paid in full on the day of the appointment.
Medicare can provide higher rebates for those who reach their Medicare Safety Net Threshold.
